| Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clin, Clin X, Adjunct, In-Residence) MED - General Internal Medicine University of California San Diego Faculty Position in General Internal Medicine. The Division of General Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively recruiting Academic Physicians to join the full-time ambulatory clinical practice at UCSD General Internal Medicine. Qualified candidates with an interest in Internal Medicine, improving primary care and being a team player are encouraged to apply. Candidates adaptable to new and emerging technologies, interested in chronic disease management and research/scholarly activities are also encouraged to apply. Candidates must have an MD and/or PhD with an emphasis relevant to Internal Medicine. Candidate with an MD must have or be eligible for a California medical license or other pertinent clinical certifications or license/permits and have Board Eligibility/Board Certification in Internal Medicine. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate of Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
