Summary
Under minimal supervision, performs basic Nuclear Medicine procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing healthcare services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is skilled in the area of Nuclear Medicine. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
Experience
Required: 2-5 years in Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine
Certifications
Required: Possession of current registry or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in Nuclear Medicine, or the CNMT. Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license
Required Courses/Completions (e.g., CPR)
BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network
