Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join the Sports Health department in Morristown, NJ. Monday through Friday hours.

Essential Functions:

• The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative tasks including managing phones, scheduling appointments, registering patients, managing patient flow, rooming patients, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, maintaining/prepping exam rooms, and other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice.

Education:

• High School Diploma required
• Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
• Post externship expereince strongly preferred
• Computer literacy essential
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Travel required to Rockaway when necessary
