Summary
Seeking an eager and dedicated full time BC/BC pathologist. 35 to 50 cases read per day, split between 2 pathologists.
Responsibilities
Position Highlights
* Assist in the preparation and performance of human tissue examinations
* Complete dissection provide description of certain surgical cases daily
* Selects and submits appropriate sections for routine microscopic examinations, frozen sections, etc.
* Covers clinical laboratory, including blood bank
* Supports surgical department for select procedures
* Surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology (No GYN cytology specimen)
Certifications and Licensures
* AP/CP certified pathologist
* Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
Required Education
* Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency
